need help w/ keyboard

IM new to EQ2...
my keyboard seems to work well (shortcuts) but i cant open the recipe book with "N" (nothing happens when i type it). Same thing with "L" for achievement points.. everything else seems to work.. any idea? I checked in the options menu under controls, but there nowhere i can remap the buttons for these 2 (recipes ans achievement)

Do you have any recipes scribed yet and do you have either KoS or EoF?

yes i have recipes sribed and none of the expansions...

Ok, the Recipe Book can be bound via the Options - Controls - Windows Keys

You won't be able to see the Achievements page though since you don't have any expansions that allow that particular aspect.
