Default UI.txt
Hello there is a file in my EQ2 folder titled UI. Is this a UI errors file?
Mine is 856kb in size and contains the same line over and over..

anyone know what this is?

I've seen this too, I think it gets written when you try to drag one item out or into a bag, if thats true then it's just extraneous code

I have desperately tried to get rid of all my error messages but I seem to get rid of some and end up with more here is my current anyone have any ideas on the EQ specific files I tried copying some from default into personally made UI and still having hard time?? and it is definately repeating for last 2 weaks or so
oh and just incase you did not find out about error first posted there is a limit to where you can put information like the outline of a bag if you get anything outside that line you get an error I usually just recopy the original one over and try again

if i make no mistake, when you create a custom directory UI like TOTO (name it like that ) by default eq is going to try to load all files and this directory if you ask him to load your UI, but if he can find a file (that it's normal when you download piece of art or UI piece) first he's going to write an error BUT after he's going to retrieve it on your default directory if he can't find it on yours.

so it's normal, try to delete files when it's becoming too big.

No, only use modded files in my custom UI and I don't get "errors" for looking for the rest of them.

The UI.txt in my custom folder is 2kb.

I have been able to get rid of most of the errors by copying some of the files from the default to my UI. I have also found that because I use 1600,1175 that some of my windows are larger like the newcharscene keeps going over 1800 not sure why this is but resizing and making sure that nothing is located in negatives got rid of a lot of my errors. I also found for some reason just simply starting over and copying the downloaded pieces into freshly downloaded UI has taken care of a lot of my errors too. But I am still having problems so still working on it just hope this helps some people
