Default Fatal Error??

I have asked this question over on the EQ2 boards and they only tell me to remove the custom UI, and use the default UI to get it to work.....the problem is that everytime i finish a quest and go back to the NPC to finish it I always get a Fatal Error. Is there a way to fox this or work around it other than using the default UI everytime I finish a quest?

thanks

What UI pieces are you using?

Also, have you verified that using the default UI does in fact not cause it to crash?

Well, I am mainly using DaimondcompactV3, with a few other mods thrown in like....3q_hotbar_small_labels, AlternatePOIIcons, some Fetish mods, dragon knowledgebook, trip's target, and I think thats about it. When it crashes I can't log back in unless i remove the custom UI and use only the default UI...once I do that i can complete the quest, log out replace the custom UI and log in like normal.

Okay, try deleting the following files from your custom UI folder:

eq2ui_popup_rewardpack.xml <--- This is probably the problem.

If it still crashes, delete any of these that you have:

eq2ui_journals.xml
eq2ui_journals_active.xml
eq2ui_journals_quest.xml
eq2ui_mainhud_onscreenmessage.xml

Once you've found the problem file, leave it as default or replace it.
