adding custom macros to other characters?

I would really like to know if its possible to use the custom macros (that I've made for my main character) on my other characters account.

I don't think I'm doing a very good job of explaining my problem. I'm new to the game, but I'm not new to modding. I just need to find a way to use my custom macros for all characters on my account...

For example: I use my main character, Skyline. I set up 2 hotbars full of custom macros. When I start a new game with my new character, Vikktor... He doesn't have access to Skyline's macros.

I'm hoping its just a simple xml cut and paste job. I'm just not sure which file is which, yet >:P

With main character: Type /savehotkeys blarg

With alts: Type /loadhotkeys blarg

I'm still having a bit of trouble with this...

I've also tried typing '/save' then hitting the TAB key to bring up a list of commands that start with '/save'

There are 5 commands:

/save_uisettings
/save_options
/save_keymaps
/savehotkeys
/save_colors

There are 7 '/load' commands. 5 are the same as the '/save' commands above plus:

/loadui
/load_configuration

I've tried all of these commands over and over and nothing seems to work correctly. Does anyone out there know if these commands even function at all?? heh.


Oh, I did get my macros to load into my alt! However, they didn't have the correct icons displayed, nor were they correctly arranged in the hotbars.. Am I just being too picky?

I spent SO much time putting everything in an efficient space for my playstyle... I REALLY don't wanna have to spend that much time on each character! haha
