Casting Bar Issue (Goldi UI)

I just started playing a few days ago and I decided to install the Goldi UI pack and everything is great and dandy except for 1 major issue that is irking the heck out of me.

My casting bar... it keeps dissapearing earlier than it should during spell casting. Sometimes, it doesnt even show up at all yet the spell is still cast. I tried deleting the eq2ui_mainhud_casting.xml file from the goldi directory but that didnt work. Then I tried copying the default eq2ui_mainhud_casting.xml file to the Goldi directory and it still didnt work.

The problem is, it is hard to time recasts of spells and target switching with the bar dissappearing the way it is.

Anyone have any idea why this is happening? Is it a Goldi issue or is it a game issue?
