Default Thinking Outside The Box.

Another idea I had, ok actually a couple.

Getting checkboxes to save their state.

Options #1 to try:

Create a window assosiated with each check box.
Position the window, off-screen, or hardcod the window to be transparent.
Make these windows so that thier status Show/hidden or posistion gets saved in the .ini files. (I think we can do this now, for custom windows, or can we?)
On load, make the mod check the status of the window, and code some sort of if statement associated with the windows status.

Anyway makes sense to me. and I think it could work.

To be more clear, Checkbox #1 is associated with transparent off screen window #1.
etc... etc..

When I click check box #2 not only does it change the display profiles, but also changes some parameter of the offscreen window #2, that change would get saved in the ini. file on log-out.

So next time I log, have the OnShow event check the status of that thier associated windows, and set the checkbox status accordingly.

Since we have working IF statements. It will be interesting to see what Paramenters of Controls of a window that get saved natrually, so we can use those to compare for If statements. Maybe a way there to save information throughout log in/out sessions that we have previously been unable to save.

For example forcing a window to show.
