guild window temp fix

I use the fetish mods so am not sure if this will work for everyone.

I am assuming default install locations

step 1.

navigate to

C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\Default

copy

eq2ui_mainhud_guild.xml

to

C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\Fetish

step 2.

navigate to

C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\Default\images

copy

guild_ranks.dds

to

C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\Fetish\images


start up your normal way and play with your new guild window.

Just delete eq2ui_mainhud_guild.xml from your Fetish directory for now.

3.6 will be uploaded sometime today.

This worked great and I run TyeJae Steel. BTW why is this temporary? What is going to change?

It is a horrible idea to copy a default file from the default interface folder into your custom interface folder. You should never ever ever ever put default files into your custom folder. All you need to do is delete it since any files not in your custom folder are automatically taken from the default folder.. This way if SOE comes out with a patch to the guild window in a few days you dont have to re-copy it again and less of a chance of crashing.
