Default Error when trying to edit buttons

I loaded this application today to edit my group/raid buttons. However I get the error below. I have copied the four files from the download to a separate directory. My games are on a separate drive E:. EQ with Profit is on this same drive. When I first double clicked the application it could not find the classpells.txt file so I copied it to the Profit UI folder. The the application now comes up. It also tells me there is an update and requires the program to restart. Once it is up, I go to edit the dirge spells and get the error below. The application can not proceed and stops there.

Where have I gone wrong? Are the updated files going to the wrong place? What files are getting updated, could they be like the txt and have to get moved to Profit UI folder?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Default Did some more testing

When I run the application on the test quick raid file that came with the download, the application works fine. When I use it on the latest version of the quick raid txt that came with the latest profit updates it crashes. I also noticed that the update quick raid file also uses numbers to reference the spells vice the names which are used in the past (and on the one send in the download). Has there been more changes?

Well havn't seen the most recent version of profitui as I'd prefer not to download Java for the auto updater. I'll look into it once the non-auto-update version's updated

The ProfitUI Team has changers how spells are handled. They now only use the base spell's name, moving the deciding logic to the server. I'll have an updated program up in a day or two

Are you sure? I thought Chrislau has it using Spell ID Numbers instead?

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

I will no longer support this due to the idiotic decision to use the spell id instead of the name. THERE IS NO WAY FOR NORMAL USERS TO LOOK IT UP AND SOE CAN CHANGE ANY OTHER THE VALUES IN ONE COMPILATION

I suggest everyone yell at whoever's working on updating profit ui now. They're idiots for using the spell id

Childish name calling is against our forum rules. I'm sure they want to do the right thing so acting like you are isn't going to help anything.

Wow, had I seen this post before your other one I'd not even have bothered responding.

Closing this thread down since you are done.
