waypoints not showing

I uninstalled a UI that didn't work for me but it had me redo the ini file as such:
cl_ui_skinname INTERFACE
cl_ui_subdir UI/
now my map isn't showing waypoints and i'm not sure that i got everything out of the system i did change the skinname of INTERFACE to default so that's what it shows on the map when you initialize it but i'm still not showing any poi's on my map. Does anyone have any suggestions that will help that is easy for a noob to this stuff to fix? It would be greatly appreciated.Thanks a ton for the time too!!
