Unhappy help! unable to use custom mods after switching to streaming client.

I have downloaded the streaming patcher in order to play on the test server but I can't seem to get any mods to work. I've been using this site for new mods for years and installing has never posed a problem before. I miss having eq2maps especially. Anyone have any suggestions on installing a mod with the streaming patcher?

You're most likely installing the mods to the wrong install of EQ2. Check what the location of your streaming patcher install is; you can do this easily enough by opening the patcher, then click options. It will show where it's installed next to Game Folder -- you can click "Open Game Folder" right there and then install your UI mods there.

For the EQ2MAP updater, you'll just have to go to options and navigate to that path for it to update the maps in the correct place. If you can't find the folders, you'll need to turn on the option to show hidden folders in Control Panel > Folder Options.

Thanks for replying, I did figure it out. I was installing the mods in the client for the streaming patcher but should have installed them in the test server folder within that client.
