Thumbs Up

Just post or send your ui settings file that resides in the EQ2 folder somewhere, and the person that receives/downloads and installs it simply deletes their old one and renames the new one to match their character server name.

For example, let's say my toon's name is Squabbles and he's on the Permafrost server and I wanted to have my ui settings be like my friend, who is on the Urest server and his name is Thundor. He could send me his file and I would first delete my config file (copy it somewhere first for backup purposes!) and then rename the one sent do me from "unrest_thundor_uisettings.cfg" to "permafrost_squabbles_uisettings.cfg".

I'm not sure on the exact location or the names of these files, I'm at work now so I can't check, there might be an "_eq2_" in the filename somewhere. I'm positive that both the character's name and server are in the file name, and I think it has "uisettings" or something similar in the file name. I'm also unsure of the file extension, I think it was .cfg (might be .ini) but can't check that right now as stated above.

I've done this a few times, I set up my ui on my main toon, then after creating alts I go back into main EQ2 folder and copy the main toons cfg file to match the name and server of my alts. When I log onto those alts all the windows and such then have the same position and attributes as the main character.

If this doesn't answer your question sorry that I misunderstood.
