So if it's already in the zip file then do i have to make a new text document in the EQ2 directory?...Still don't see how that i was able to make a file named eq2.ini when there already was a file.

I've deleted everything and re-installed the Averad_packx1-1.2.zip, so all i have is that folder on my desktop, can some one explain step by step instructions please?

Thanks
In my readme it tells you exactly what to do.

Extract my zip file directly into your everquest2 directory.
Standard EQ2 install puts it here:
C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\

-----------------------------------------------
In the zip file there is a file named readme.txt it contains:
Install
-------------------------------------------------------
1)Extract directly into your EQ2 directory.

Example:
c:/program files/Sony/Eq2/<extract here>

After extraction it should look like
c:/program files/Sony/Eq2/UI/Averad_Pack

2)Change server_charactername_eq2_uisettings.ini
To have your servername and character name if your using a 1280x1024

Optional
-------------------------------------------------------
If you would like your hotbar to have the selection arrows copy eq2ui_mainhud_hotkey.xml from the Optional folder to .../ui/Averadpack/<here>

KEY NOTE: Make sure you copy the actual file and not the folder!!!!

Copy Server_Charactername_eq2_uisettings.ini from optional folder and place in your
c:/program files/Sony/Eq2/
