"Cursor" attribute

(I dug around and found this very old thread in which mother9987 asked virtually the same question, but I'd like to know if anything's changed in the last few years and/or if anyone can now shed some light on this little enigma.)

While tinkering with the suggestion gm9 made here, I realized that there's a "Cursor" attribute available for various UI elements. The only time I've seen "Cursor" used is when it comes to input-type elements, and the only value I've seen used is "/Cursor.Text".

Unlike "ShadowStylesNew" and "TextStyles," I'm not seeing a "Cursor" category at the top of the UI Builder tree view, so there's no way for me to browse and see if "Cursor" will accept any other values than "Text." After testing a couple different educated guesses without success, I'm coming here in the hopes that someone will have a bit of insight.

So, is this attribute one that we can actually use? And if so, does anyone have a list of acceptable values? If we *can't* use it right now, is there any hope that maybe someday we can? Pretty please, Rothgar, with a cherry on top? :)

I don't want to change the cursor images themselves...I just want there to be a "hand" or "grab" cursor where there's currently a "move" cursor when the mouse is over a certain element in a certain window.

Wow, that is an old thread. I can tell you I never figured it out myself. But I think I had found another way to do what I wanted and never looked into it too hard.

Good luck and let me know if you do discover it...

I think you can't change it. While you can create custom cursor styles and they do work fine in UIbuilder, they never showed up in game when I tried to use them.
