Non-functioning Text Input
 

Is there a good reason why some of my text input bars should be broken?

Currently I am able to ask guards to direct me to NPCs, however, I can't use the text filter when trying to visit an friend's inn room or when filtering items on the broker. I do use a custom broker window but replaced that with the default as well as introducing the default 'visit inn room' window but still no luck, so any help would be appreciated.

Not 100% sure on this, I have seen this before and I "think" this file eq2ui_fonts.xml could be your problem... Make sure it includes all the fonts you are using, and that the fonts actualy exist!

Make sure to back that file up first though before you do anything to it, in case I am wrong ;)

Yeah, this was the problem thanks, over the course of development the fonts file was changed whilst the fonts themselves weren't updated. All unneccessary font references and files have been removed which has given me the power of text boxes back.
