Testing Question
Is there a downloadable program that I can use so that I can preview my UI without actually having to load EQ2, then logg off, make changes then load EQ2 back up to see if they are good...etc... Or am I stuck doing it the long way?
Thanks in advance... TyeJae |
There was a great UI building tool for DAoC that I used to use called daoced. It had a full preview with sample data entered for you, and all your changes were displayed in realtime.
This is probably why I haven't gotten into EQ2 UI editing yet - the UIBuilder program makes almost zero sense at first glance, other than the XML tree it displays. So I agree with TyeJae that there needs to be a better tool than having to load the game to see UI elements :) |
Are you saying there is a UI tool, but it is just a bad one? I didnt even know there was one if this is the case.

The UIBuilder works great and you'll find more information and a tutorial looking through the correct forums. The UIBuilder for EQ2 is very powerful, just a little confusing until you understand how to use it.
This forum is for people having trouble with installing their interface. :) |
