New Computer -- can't get the Maps downloaded
 

ok, I've downloaded the map program several times on other computers -- had some issues, but got it to work ---
well, time for a new computer, but this time , I can't get the maps to work --
help please -- I miss the maps ... I am doing something wrong and I can't figure out what this time ... not sure I'm even downloading the right maps anymore <sigh>

Does the installer show you an error message?

not really -- blank spaces --
but .. I tried again -- I never give up lol --
THIS time it worked -- it's there and doing just fine --
what did I do ? I just let it select the drive it wanted to go to --
I had been trying to get it on the external hard drive the game is on --
maybe that was the problem ?
thanks for helping me -- like I said, never had this problem before ..
now to go and figure out DarqUI again

(good news with all of these issues -- my journal works again -- somehow it got corrupted on the old computer) :D
