Game Client Crashing...UI probs?
 

my game client keeps crashing when i got to windowed mode and when i try to go back to full screen mode...it doesnt crash when it goes down to windowed just when going back to full screen...once i hit alt+tab it goes down....thanks for any help you can give

Doesn't sound like a UI mod problem, but just to be sure, switch back to the default UI and see if the bug still occurs. If it does, I suggest going to http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/e...d=tech_support for help, they'll probably be able to help you with that junk more effectively.

SOE recomends updating video and sound drivers, defraging your drive and disabeling all startup items (see their instructions Keyword Crash).

This dose seam to have resolved some issues I was having on my XP box after upgrading to sp2. SOE sites problems with other tasks wanting to share resources EQ expects to have exclusive use of. They also mention IRQ settings being a potential problem.

thanks guys....this has been happening for awhile and i finally got fed up with it....ill try those suggestions asap
