Please keep in mind these changes have not gone live yet and more changes may be in the works and only introduced on patch day. eq2ui_community.xml eq2ui_inventory_trade.xml eq2ui_journals_quest.xml eq2ui_mainhud_editmacro.xml eq2ui_mainhud_socials.xml eq2ui_newcharscene.xml Please let me know if you like these reports as they are much easier to generate then manually listing the changes. |
LMAO at Quest Journal window changes. Just for that I'm renaming all my script variables. :D
The report format is great. :) |
That is pretty cool, I have a problem that looks almost exactly like that, makes for easy reading
|
are they required changes? as in the UI will crash with out them?

I love these reports. If you made them whenever UI files were patched it'd make updating a piece of cake.

It does make me wonder where this text is actually used. |
It's not. It's just text that shows up in the UI Builder for visual purposes.

File changes verified after patch. thanks dolby
|
I'm at work therefore cannot test yet - Do existing custom UI interfaces still work after the big patch - without having to compensate for the new xml changes in these specific files...or does it crash?
Thanks.... |
Well with my UI's that show the % Death Debt. The patch on the Server end cause your death Debt to no longer show 0% if you don't have any death debt, it now shows a (-) Negative number equal to your current Adventure XP% for example instead of showing 0% Death Debt, if I was 40% into level my death debt shows -40% death Debt. This was done to more accurately show how much death debt you have to work off. Other than that all of my other UI mods work fine so far with the big patch.

I have to admit the Quest Journal Fix is funny as heck. Lucky no one sees that message unless the open the XML. And I love Beyone Compare, awesome program Dolby. And great reports. TY for keeping us Coders informed .... :)
|
Oh is it Beyond Compare?? That's what I use, didn't know you could make reports from it, hehe.
