Need help installing unofficial maps pls?
 

I followed the directions I think it was sort of confusing. Could some one tell me step by step what to do to install the maps please?

create a folder inside ui folder called myui

drop the mainhud_maps.xml inside myui folder

inside myui, create a folder called images

inside images, create two folders...one called maps and one called icons

drop the icon files in icons
drop the maps inside the map folder

create eq2.ini in your everquest II directory

inside eq2.ini :

Umm here's where you say what an idiot do I have to make an EQ2.ini file if so how please sorry?

open up notepad and copy and past the code posted above. save as eq2.ini and bingo that is it. just put that into your main eq2 directory and your good to go
