Showing external data?
 

Basically, is there any way to display dynamic data that EQ2 isn't in control of?

I'd like to be able to display data in EQ2 that is constantly being updated by a program outside of EQ2. For example a news ticker, or something (That's not what I want to do, but is a good comparison). The data source would either be some random file, or (if need be) one of the actual UI .XML's. I'd just like to know if this is possible before I waste time trying to figure out how to do it. ;p
