Can I acceleracte sony's download??
 

Someone mentioned a download accelerator which speeds up the massive file needed to get me started with my Beta account, I have been searching fo rthe post it was on, but can't find it.

In the meantime I installed an accelerator I had which is great for individual files, but because the EQ2beta program starts the download I cannot get my accelerator to deal with it.

Do you get what I mean? I am wondering whether the accelerator program that the someone mentioned worked with the sony automatic updating download?

By the way I have a 600kbit connection, and am trying to shave a few hours off the download if poss. - Thanks

sorry, you have to deal with the slow, buggy launchpad. no way around it =(

Yeah, thanks anyway, - I sat it out and it was well worth the wait! :D

If you know someone who is already in beta with the bandwith to spare you can have them p2p the files to you but you'll still need a key from SOE to play
