Does anyone know when EQ2 is suppose to ship?
 

The last date I was given was Nov 15, (EB games website re. pre-order) but I am wondering if that is still accurate since they are still offering Beta slots.

Hmmm, ummmmm..... (scratches head) eh.... only things close to official on a release date was sometime in 2004 that I know of. Not sure where or who gave ya that date... but it sounds cool. One can hope!

Would be cool to come out on my b-day :P But I dunno if I'm gonna buy it. Hoping to beta test it or find someone who is gonna buy it first.

Nov 15th?!?
 

I bought my pre-order starter kit late Aug, checked every retailer around, all saying Nov 15th... So booked my vaction time 15th - 23rd.

I am getting a little nervous that I might have to find something else do on my vacation.
They have 23 business days to go. It does not seem that the have stress-tested it, you would thing that would take a week. Then you would hope that they would pour over the feedback, analyze and fix any issues. They then apparently need atleast one week to burn to disc(1 DVD or 8-9 CDs per unit) the final version, test that, then manufacture a couple hundred thousand. Finially distribute the game to 1000s of retailers all around the world.

SOE please dont let me down, I don't want to have to paint the house during my vaction. :(

im pretty sure its going to be the 15th or 16tg
 

as far as i know its going to be the 15th, usually gamestop/eb games will only post a date when its an exact, and their release date is the 16th, and for those of you havent notice movies,games,musice all are released on tuesdays, the 16th is a tuesday, so the 15th is the ship date, make very much since if u ask me.

That would be nice if its the 15th or 16th of Nov... I will have my hands full of playing both Eq2 and WoW... either one Ill be happy and will be busy that my wife will not be happy...

Monthly fee and release date
 

First of all on the eq web site i believe the ship date is the 17th. How much is the monthly fee for eq2? :confused:

Gamestop told me the 15th on my re-order as well. <shrug>

I'm guessing november, but highly possible they could try and tap the Christmas market :mad:

Been hoping it'll get released on the 16th as planned, but really doubt they'll make the deadline on that. I'd say if they really do keep with their promise of a 2004 release then I'd expect it around mid December right before Christmas more likely.

i also hope for november but if not, whats another month i guess :/

this is why you should all pre order and get yourself a kit to help pass the time with hours of sensless custome character making!
