Description
This is a plugin that requires EQ2Map to function!
Please rate the file and mark as favorite if you enjoy it.



This plugin will make it so that the Fog Checkbox will hide any fog on any map.

Just copy the contents of the zip file to your Everquest2/Ui/MYCUSTOMUI/eq2map folder.
When asked if it's ok to overwrite, click YES


Note: Uses plugin slot 9
V1.3: Third times the charm... Confirmed fixed for ROK..
V1.2: How about now? Set it so that the checkbox is set visible everytime the window is set visible.. Hopefully it's always visible now
V1.1: Should force the checkbox to show itself when hidden.. So it should always be visible.

How did you fix the problem? I still cant get it to hide the fog at all.

Not working for me. When I'm in a city, I see the checkbox, outside (Ex. Nektulos Forest), checkbox does not show up.

Edit: Fixed my problem. Works great!

I updated it again with another change to force it to show the checkbox whenever the map window is opened

Unhappy Doesn't Work
Tried with Profit Reborn in the following combinations:
With and Without Shrinkmap
With and Without Show Just the Map
With and Without POI Finder
Without any other plugins whatsoever

Each attempt was on a clean install of entire ProfitUI folder including eq2map folder, both from the auto-updaters. Also, just to make sure, I attempted it at the Commonlands Gate in West Freeport. Inside Freeport I always saw the "Hide Fog" checkbox, and in the Commonlands I did not.

I will sell you the soul of my favorite cat if you'll get this working! Seeing all that black on my map screen makes me sad...

It goes into the Everquest2/Ui/EQ2MAP/eq2map directory and if you do it correctly you should get an overwrite message popup.

Unhappy Hide Fog - no luck, for me at least
FYI,
I tried ti get this to work with no luck. I also found that my folder path was a little different: I have Everquest2/Ui/(then a choice of 3 folders - Default, EQ2MAP, or Fonts) instead of Everquest2/Ui/MyUi/eq2map folder. I tried loading the file in 2 locations with no success : Everquest2/Ui/EQ2MAP & Everquest2/Ui/EQ2MAP/eq2map. If anyone knows where I might have gone wrong it will be greatly appreciated!
