eXtremeUI for EQ2 Henchman
Supports international users
All C2C scripts from Henchman work with this version of eXtreme.
Update Note:
05-11-2008 - Fixed an issue with the health and Power amount readout wrapping.
04-27-2008 - Fixed issues with Class detection
- Fixed issues with ArcheType detection in the group window.
- Due to the way data is populated in EQ2 it is mostly impossible to have all this automated. So Default Icons are in place until you hover your mouse over said widnows.
04-22-2008 - Add class detection triggers in the player, group and raid windows to insure the class is detected.
- Fixed an issue with the exp window where you could not press the utilities buttons.
- Tidied up versus code.
- Tweaked the Archetype code for the group member icons. This always worked for me, maybe this tweak will work for them that it wasn't working for.
04-20-2008 - The compass North and South can now be visually separated by Green and Red. Where North (Green) will fade to South (Red).
- Fixed the cures effect in the player window. It will now lite up if you have a curse.
- Made the group window Archetype icon work for international users also.
04-18-2008 - Centrelize bits of code so I wouldn't have to include them more then once.
- Made eXtreme Ui internalized so none English users could use all the C2Cure and cast. gm9 already had class code made so I used a modified ver of his code. No reason to totally reinvent the wheel here.
4-8-2008 - Fixed an issue with target being stuck in the short state
- Improved stats window, it now detects your class and shows class specific stats.
- Henchmen version replaces the auto updater version for now. Look for an auto updater plugin soon for EQ2 Henchman.
- All cures are now preprogrammed if your class has a cure. You reprogram them via Henchman if you wish.
- Added click to cast to group and raid window. Now if you are a healer you have you cures plus 5 additional click to cast buttons you can program via Henchman.
2-23-2008 - Stream lined code and Integrated a lot of code that was being included with include files.
- Generally making the code easier for me to add things and upgrade.
1-29-2008 - None code change, changed from LU41 to LU42 as I was behind one when posting on 1-26-2008
01-26-2008 - Replaced the Mute and Sound off button with a Player Autoface and Camera Autoface button.
- Added Ping, Packlos, BPS and FPS to the compas
01-22-2006 - Fixed an issue in the henchman.xml file that was causing EQ2 Henchman not to extract extreme_windowframes.dds
- Replaced the casting bar with 4 quick icons (Zone Reuse Timer, Journal, Knowledge and Guild
- New compass window
01-06-2008 - Made all backgrounds where they can be made transparent with the background control.
- Move the group effect icons below the health and power bars and increased their size from 15,15 to 24,24. They are now a lot easier to work the C2C.
- Other things that I may of fixed here and there and can't remember :P

Target Window help
I love Extreme, however I have an annoying problem I haven't been able to figure out. My target window is in an annoying position in the middle left of the screen. I can't find any way to move it. Right click doesn't do anything and I can't find a drag point either. What am I missing?

Just downloaded the new UI and got it installed but i noticed that for the HUD display for the players health it has the standard bar display and not the numbers. I tried hitting hte HUD button and it does not change at all. Is there a file I am missing ?
BTW great UI , I have used it for years and this is only real issue i have had with it

Help a noob out
I realy realy wanna try this out, but I'm 100% noob. Could someone post some install directions or show me where to find the directions? I can install this but it looks nothing like the screenshots, and alot of stuff is jumbled up

I love 95% of extreme. The one place where I feel there is a superior product is in the clock/compass. I really like the Milquetowst clock and compass better than the extreme one. The only reason I think the Milquetowst one is better is because it provides red/green temperature indicators based on the direction you are facing so it is easy and intuitive to see whether the heading will cause the x,y coordinates to increase or decrease.
I would love to see that capability integrated into the extreme compass. Barring that I would like to be able to use the Milquetowst clock/compass with extreme, and therein lies my problem. To this point I have not been able to figure out a way to make the two play nice. The only change I am able to produce is a reversion back to the eq2 default clock compass. As I am not hugely experienced with customizing my ui I could well be doing something wrong...or maybe there just isn't a way to integrate the Milquetowst piece into the overall extreme ui...

installing issues
I have a couple questions first.
1. do i install it to the eXtreme folder in C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\eXtreme ? or do i install in a different folder?
I installed it to the extreme folder and some of the UI things messed up. like my health bar and the thing that shows your stats. they show black and looks disoriented.
2. does it matter where i install the Henchman thing? i just installed to the default folder.
Some help would be much appreciated
EDIT: Problem solved for question #1, but #2 would be nice to know.

Hello... (love the ui) just wondering how do you get the background transparent? I looked thru and cannot seem to find where/how to do this? Also getting an error on login Tmain_GUI, SL:237, Unhandled Error it only seems to update about 28% and then gets stops, However I can get in game and ui looks good except some aspects of quickswitch and info center are missing. Main problem is an Error msg that POPS up EVERY time i zone saying ----The detrimental window is not present. You will not be able to see any detrimental effects on your char until you update your ui----Any help appreciated

this ui is quite simply not worth the effort, it takes too long to set up and will confuse most people
people want to be able to jump into game and play, not spend half the day configuring a ui which still doesnt work after youve done everything

I see that we're supposed to be able to add up to 50 chars, but I can't find a place to do that. It automatically picked up certain chars in both of my 2 accounts, but not all of them. I have 10 chars on both of my accounts. How do I add the rest of them?
