I don't get this new mainchat window. Why is there nowhere to type? Update notes say you gotta toggle title? How and where? For now I just reset it to the previous version since I can't really raid without chat.

Right-click the chat window and goto Window Settings. Use the dropdown to select Frame & Titlebar.

When i try to run the updater i get "splash: recv failed" error. even uninstalled and redownloaded the installer again and it won't run.

Everytime a new update comes out my Updater stops working. It loses the file paths and a page of exceptions shows up requesting me to reset the filepath. But it won't take the file path entry...it stays blank. Reloading the Updater gives same result. Last Update I tracked down all the shortcuts and deleted them and got a rerun to work, but now I can't get it to work. HELP, please.

Sigh, after several tries of several things...it sorted itself out with a "Reset all settings" though it was not the first time I had used that, or even 20th...heh.

All better now.

I get the same problem ...except I tried the reset all settings but I still receive the error. Help. I use windows 7 and I start the updater with administrator rights.

OK sorry for all the wasted space. I fixed it by right clicking the icon on my desktop shortcut > properties > under shortcut tab - click advanced > click the box run as administrator. Click ok and run the updater icon. I also reset my setting again....but it seemed to fix after I fixed the admin check box. I never could get it to show the file path. It would not show the eq2.exe file in any options. Anyway hope this helps someone.

I'm downloading to a new computer. The error I am getting after clicking on Drums II updater icon is 'Java Web Start rcv failed".

I am running Comodo Firewall and Antivir on Windows 7.

Doing a little research... says Comodo is having an issue with this. So I tried exiting/turning off Comodo. No change.

I am seeing Drums in the correct directory and the ini is showing Drums as the UI on my computer

But I am not seeing the Drums UI in game. Using in game command /loadUI Drums is not listed.

Any ideas or suggestions.

Make sure you run the updater with administrator rights (As Admin).

since the having to use the new launcher i seem to have lost my ui. i've tried running the updater and it says everything is being loaded right and i've checked the paths but i'm still stuck on the default ui and it doesn't even give me an option to choose anything else. i'm sure since i'm pretty crap at computers i'm either doing something wrong or not doing something at all but any pointers would be really nice or a place to re-check .
