sure, that's possible. you could do this one of two ways. edit the xml for the mainchat, and change the background in the main body of the window. easy enough to do, i've just tried to avoid making too many changes to this window since it seems like it's been changed by SOE often enough The other way is to change the actual image file so that it is just a solid black square instead of the grey brushed aluminum; also easy enough to do.

which would you prefer? and if you want help send me a PM and I can make the change to the image file or the xml file and send it to ya.

Love the UI but I do have one problem.

For some reason I can't see any items that are in my inventory slots when I open my market board.
So in turn, I can't use the market board that is in my room to sell items.
The coin indicator at he bottom is reading "99p,99g,999s999c sold in this session" and it also reads that I have this same amount in my possesion, which of course I don't.
I can access my house vault but without the market board active I can't move any items from my inventory to sell. It also means that I can't reset prices for any of those items in my vault.

Any ideas?

Sorry for the long delay in getting an update available. I just moved across the country and now i'm finally feeling like i'm settled in. I logged in over the weekend and immediately began working on bringing the UI up to date with the patches over the last few weeks.

I have fixed the Journal window, the Market windows, and the coin issue from the Inventory. I will be working on a couple of other little fixes and then I plan to add in a couple of the requested features. I hope to have an update to upload either tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for all the feedback and support.

i really like the color of this ui , great job
but if you can just adjust some of the sizes of window smaller will much more perfect
like the target window, player window ...etc...
if possible try to get it good for 1024x768 or greater version

Todays patch (06.08) really screwed up a lot of things. Working on fixing issues with the Guild Journal first. The fonts problem will take a while to work out.

for now, I recommend turning off the font smoothing option. the UI builder doesn't even let you see the effect of the font smoothing so it's going to be really tough to get everything looking the way it should now. =(

I want to use your Player, Group, and Exp Bar. I can't figure out how to do so, I thought I would start on the Exp bar and go from there, I have no exp with XML, but I see it calling to image files, so I make sure to load them. I almost have it working, I have the graphic and the arrows, the only problem is that it is not filling in the bar that shows static exp.(the yellowish orange colour)

Please help =) if you could list what I need (files and where they should be)

many many issues with this UI....its the best looking one on the site in my opinion but all the windows come up pitch black with nothing on them..can this be fixed perhaps?
