Icon Bar
Buff tinting Custom icons that cast Maintained buffs will now gray out in the Icon Bar when the buff is active on your character. Turn on the option from the Window Manager or the utility. Thanks to DuneWarrior for the suggestion

Note: To use buff tinting for Ascension spells that were set up before this feature was added, remove (Ascension) from the name/tooltip

The utility no longer offers two copies of Ascension and AA spells when doing a Census lookup
You can now use TNAME (the DarqUI version of %T) and ITNAME mnemonics when referencing targets and implied targets with the Icon Bar. Utility v3.1.0.9 and above will replace %T in imported hotkey macros with TNAME for compatibility

Threat Window
Added new Threat display options and Threat Alerts to the utility
Maintained Spell Monitor
Some internal logic points were reworked to improve efficiency
Added new tile modes to the utility
Removed the extra "Target" label (thanks Aniko for the suggestion)
Spells with punctuation can now be recast and sidecast without errors
The target line will now read "a Mercenary" instead of "Out of range"
The recast/sidecast button is more clear about attempting to cast on Mercenaries
Stat Monitor
Characters with health and power in the millions can now use warning setpoints in the Stat Monitor. Choose Health Percent or Power Percent in the stat list to set a warning threshold based upon a percentage rather than the raw value
Also
Stopped some interesting behavior on the Player and Extended Player windows. Thanks to barnacles2017 for the heads up
Fixed a utility crash when trying to load Bag data from a non-existent uisettings file
The EQ2MAP status window is now more descriptive and a bit less "Ready"

DarqUI Unified combines the best of DarqUI, DarqUI Live and EQ2Inventory into one, with some useful new features. Standard DarqUI users can now choose to make quick, permanent configuration changes right from the game screen while playing, as an alternative to loading up the external window utility. There is no longer a limit to the number of characters that can be customized, and many of the settings that were previously shared by all of your characters can now be configured for each character separately.

DarqUI Live users can take advantage of an all-new configuration app with features like Quick Setup, backup and restore, character and spell file maintenance, and a new lookup feature that queries Daybreak servers for spell lines and icons to use for your spell buttons. The DarqUI Unified configuration app has been rewritten from the ground up to provide all of the conveniences from the DarqUI Window Utility and the Live Updater. You will find many usability improvements and an uncluttered design that matches the familiar in-game window manager.

Large size windows DarqUI Unified offers larger-size versions of many windows to accommodate higher resolution monitors. Choose the size you prefer from the Updates page of the utility. These include Active Journal (quest helper), Casting Bar, Chat, Dissonance, Experience Bar, Group, Implied Target, Maintained Spell Monitor, Maintained Spells, Mercenary, NPC Spell Monitor, Pet, Player, Raid, Savagery, Target, Threat and Tracking. DarqUI windows that were already usable with higher resolutions include Detrimental Effects, Hotbars and Spell Effects.

EQ2Inventory Track and search equipment, bags, bank, shared bank, house vault, Wardrobe contents, mount and Familiar collections and up to 9 houses, guild hall and player-made dungeons per character from the DarqUI Unified interface.

Chat Log Parser features keyword, category and date/time searches that recognize English, German and French log files. Use the preset category filters or build your own using regular expressions.

EQ2MAP integration Install and update EQ2MAP alongside DarqUI with a single click.

Help system Help files are now available for all DarqUI Unified windows and utility functions. Context-sensitive help information can be accessed externally from the window utility or from the window manager in-game. Use the new, more robust "Make default" feature on the Files page of the utility to set DarqUI as your default. This will prevent needing to use /loadui from the game window which crashes the awesomium browser.

Spell Suggestions There is a new French spell suggestion file in addition to German and English.

DarqUI Unified Notifications is a Windows tray icon that checks periodically for DarqUI and EQ2MAP updates. More information for setting up and using DarqUI_Notify can be found here. The app is optional, and is included in the download on this page.

You've got the right idea for using the Icon Bar. Pretty much anything you can set up a hotkey for can be added to the Icon Bar window for each character. You can set up individual icons manually from inside the game, but you will probably have an easier time using the utility.

First you need to save your hotbars: While logged in with your character, click the "Window Manager" icon near the bottom of the Start menu and choose "Hotbars" in the window that appears. Click "Save Hotkeys." Now open the DarqUI utility and choose your character and Icon Bar at the top. If you don't see the character and window dropdowns, click the <-- arrow in the upper left hand corner of the utility.

Once you are at the Icon Bar page, click the [?] at the top of the window. There is quite a lot of help for setting up your icons from that point.

icon bar help

i am just returning and decided to try this ui.. nice btw, a little overwhelming but nice.... anyway i cant seem to get the icon bar setup... the help page said something about choose my hot bar to load my icons and spells or something.... i cant find a my hot bar option anywhere... anyway i have spent the last 3 days trying to set this ui up and getting very frustrated.

how in the world do i get the icon bar to set up and with my ability icons... i would love to put my non essential stuff on it like my mount icon, guild hall and other teleport.. my constant running buffs ( sk btw). basically buttons that i do not push that often....or did i completely misinterpret what this bar is for???

Feature Request: Increase Stat Monitor max 999999

Hello there!

As always, love the UI and have put it to great use!

Would it be possible in the future to increase the stat monitors cap of 999,999 to 9,999,999? As many folks now are seeing ability mod stats in the millions routinely, I would love to see the possibility of an increase so that we could utilize the stat monitor to notify of those stats spiking as we already do for the other stats listed.

Yup group window, power and Health monitor both Health and power Below are not enabled, ie. no checkmarks and i do get random purple names.. sometimes multiple other times not.

Dang was hoping i missed something w the sizes to make some of them even smaller. guess its the darqui portal thingy that got old info perhaps? think i mentioned montors and others.. but i could be misremembering

Hi,

Just a few questions.
Been noticing some people show up in the group window with a purpleish background and i cant for the life of me figure out why... what am i missing?

2nd. i noticed on the portal it was possible to select a small version of a few windows, however i only see normal and large, could that be due to me using one of the themes and its not updated? or ?

If you don't have a functional "Pets" tab on the left-hand side (such as with possessed essences and charmed pets), then the game is not necessarily updating the stats correctly since the designers don't expect you to be seeing them. I would not rely on the "Pet Stats" tab unless you have a conjured pet, warder or construct.

There was a time when the default UI did not show any pet stats even though the data points existed, which is why the pet stats sidebar was added to the DarqUI character window. Default tabs were later added for conjured controllable pets, beastlord warders, channeler constructs and mercenaries. The DarqUI sidebar tab was no longer necessary, but I left it in as a convenience to the affected classes. I'll look at making it a bit smarter about displaying in the absence of a correct pet type.

Stats on the pet tab come directly from the game with no translation by the custom UI. Before discussing your pet stats with the developers, switch back to the default UI, or remove eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml from your DarqUI_v3 folder and restart the game. The character window will be the uncustomized default in either case.

pet tab

As a Coercer when I cast mastermind, it is suppose to increase pet stats, but when I look at the pet tab in the character window it shows all the stats go down by amount instead of up. Is this correct? I am not sure how your pet window reflects stats, but I would like to figure this out so I can pass to devs if the stat is actually being decreased.
