Hi and thx for debugging
i deleted all these files in all the logincache folders. it worked after i used quicksetup after logging into 1 account (11 chars). but after logging into charselect for all 3 accounts the error is back. says characters detected in screen and same error popup. any ideas?

Ebarel, I have seen this issue on rare occasions before, and it should be an easy fix. Quick Setup uses character (CDC) files, one per character, found in the logincache folder. Some players have very old CDC files from a time before DarqUI was written, and older formats that I am not familiar with can give the "index out of range" error.

Each time you log in to the Character Select screen, the server generates a new CDC file for each character on the account. But sometimes old CDC files can be left behind, for instance if you delete a character or switch servers. The game does not delete these unused files. I'm assuming that you don't have 46 active characters and that some very old character files are causing the error.

To get past the error you can delete the CDC files out of the logincache folder, or move them to another folder. Log into the Character Select screen for each of your accounts to allow the game to repopulate the logincache folder with only current-generation character files. Then run Quick Setup again.

Hi,
just tried to update and import the stuff as in the video. selected path for custom ui files and selected to update only group and raid. worked well updating and shows they are up to date. also checked the international spell checkbox. but using the quick setup to arrange all the stuff i get an error msg from windows for darqui. translated something like: unexpected exception in application. error line says. the index was out of array area.
quick setup shows no chars as in the video, only blanks and in the bottom line 46 characters detected.
any ideas what i am doing wrong?

When you get updates, download the DarqUIspellsDE.csv file which contains almost all of the spells in German. (Missing the most recent expansion.) 3) can i use/import the existing spellnames(icons) All previous versions of the DarqUI group window -- even the very old one that you are using -- are compatible with the newest version of the utility. It will pick up as much data as it can from the older version, but since a number of features have been added you will probably want to start over.

4) how many alts can i use now? (i am using the 5 character version - in the video looks like 8 now) I'm surprised the old 5-character version still works at all. Yes, you can configure up to 8 character slots.

triz989, if you can't see the detriment icons, right click the raid window and choose Advanced Mode. The DarqUI crafting window can default to single- or double-pane view, and the recipe favorites list is managed on the main recipe page. Defaults for the reaction timer and sound can be configured in the utility under the "Misc" tab. A similar reaction timer for Experimentation is coming in the next release.

love your UI

thank you for making such a wonderful UI my eyes are bad so was getting harder to heal/cure in raids but thanks to your UI its much easier to see. but how do i change the size of people in the raid window so i can see the members and cure buttons. how does one fix the trade skill window?

FearGod, to change the cures click the GroupMembers tab, then choose the correct cure tab for your class or archetype: Priest, Mage, Conjuror, Paladin, or None. On that tab you'll find the private tells for each cure type. You can edit the cells like a spreadsheet to clear them.

Darq, I am having an issue with the Group ui and my dirge. For some reason the Icons in Mode 2 are not matching up with the actual spell names in game. The DarqUI utility window everything is correct and I am saving it like normal. Its just showing up in game funky. Any reason on why its doing this?

EDIT: I clicked that little white box (options) in the group window to change the mode and see if its the same for different modes. Well, once I changed the mode, the spells all lined up with the correct names, but it was no longer the spells I had personally setup.

EDIT #2: Fixed the issue, it made two seperate files for my dirge for some reason and kept default loading the second one.

gandalf12, the bags are colored based on the name you give them in-game. For example, choose a bag that you want to use for armor. Right-click and go to Bag Options. Name the bag "Armor." The next time you reopen the bag it will have whatever color you assigned to the Armor category.

You can go the other way and make all your bubinga strong boxes a certain color. In the utility, choose a category slot and type "bubinga strong box" and choose a color. Save and log in to the game, and all your bubinga strong boxes will be that color without changing the names.
