Description
I have modded this window a little bit..

Change the order of spellbuttons for smaller grp window, (vetical view)
Ad 6 rogrammable click to cast spell buttons for each grp member..
Ad percent for health and mana..
delete borders around the effect window.. because some players ask me for that..
Change the effects from 15x15 to 25x25 for better view

NEW * on spell button 1. You now can send a tell to your grp member.. for example if a troubadur like to send jesters cap to a group member if he click spbottom1 he now can tell him something . automatically.

open the xml file eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml in this zip file with a simple text editor - like windows editor

search the line <Data Name="Tell1" text="write your tell here."/>

and type in your text.. now save..
if you don't like to send a tell you only delete the text "write your tell here."

it works only for button1 at this time
if you need more.. please post

In this zip.file are 6 txt documents wich you have to copy in your EQ2 folder
not the ui folder pls.

if you are logged in look in your spellbook or hotbar wich spell you like to cast on grp members with no target change.. in example a hot for druids or a ward for shaman or like jesters for troubs..

open the file spell1.txt or spell2.txt or spell3.txt or spell4.txt or spell5.txt or spell6.txt with a text editor, and enter the name of spell you wich to cast if you click on the buttons in your grp_window. for example

--> useability Bloom ; target_previous

or open spell1.txt with a text editor and overwrite bloom with jasters cap for troubadurs and save it. you don't need to log out !! you can test it on a grp member directly..

if you have another char for example a warden.. so log on your char open the file spell1.txt again and copy the first line ..
go in the 2 line and paste it, then overwrite jesters cap with in example Photosynthesis. thats all now the troub cast jesters and the warden cast a hot if you click button nr.1 in your grp_window..


Hope you like the change of that grp window

Install...
extract the file. then copy the file eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml and the folder images, in your UI folder for ex. "........\EverQuest II\ui\myUI"
copy the txt documents spell1.txt -> spell6.txt in your EverQuest II folder

I can't get this to work either. The group window just comes up without any names and just repeats the "toggle for lfg" and "search lfg" buttons per each member. Anyone know what to do?

I tried installing this mod tonight but couldnt get it to work when installed according to instructions? Any Ideas

It sounds like it would be a good interface piece as im looking for a group window that will allow me to click to heal / ward without changing target.

would love an update to this myself, made healing so simple as a druid it allowed me to dps more without sacrificing heal quickness.

Hi,

would it be possible to make the "tell" more flexible as to just add any tell, shout, gsay or raid into the text files? For actual content it is very useful to let group or raid know that you are curing a curse i.e.

Hi Aseekia!

Hey, this is a bit hard to deal with, not out of the realm of possiblity and I really have no experience programming in a text editor or at least not a lot. How difficult would it be to allow a drag and drop from the macros list of commands to the hotkey in your group member slot or maybe detect the person's character type so that their primary heal, cure's could be put in there?

I hope I explained properly and thank you for your time.

I am having an issue with the programmable buttons changing target too. Unless I place my cursor in the exact center of the button, my target is changed to the subject of the cast. This group window worked so well before, but the target change makes the programmable buttons useless. I'm having the same issue with the mod that has the tell on the first button - I couldn't get the tell feature to work either.

Thanks for the mod Aseekia! Question: Could I have messed something up so that the spells now change target? It didnt used to do that but now it does. I checked the spell.txt files and they seem to be the same but i haven't been able to compare the xml files because.. well.. because I dont have the talent and wouldn't know what i was looking at.
