Tooltips

the tooltips in the oh-so-handy skills list (yay I don't have to have a ton of hotbars for crafting) could use some slightly more defined tooltips so that people know which one does +speed +dur etc, I've added the ones I have in my own copy but just a suggestion...

I am still using your UI, just adding an additional hotbar as well on the side for the tier 5 buffs needed. Would be nice if all in the UI box.

Thanks again for your effort!!
Which one of these is for which group?

Hope below is what you were asking for.

Lvl 40:
Head symbol "Hex" decreases durability by 3, increases progress by 9
Okay symbol "Ethereal Script" increases progress by 27
Hand symbol "Short Hand" decreases success by 9%, increases progress by 27

Lvl 51:
Head symbol "Bewitchment" decreases progress by 20, increases durability by 10
Okay symbol "Impish Script" increases durability by 20
Hand symbol "Hieroglyphics" decreases success by 4%, increases durability by 15

Thanks a ton. Your going to have to wait a while my gaming rig blew up for the second time in as many weeks. I am on my third power supply 3ed mobo and am pissed. So I am going to build an all new rig once I get some cash. Bear with me.

Not a problem. I am still enjoying your mod, regardless. I made a nice little hotkey bar using the buffs I mostly use to push durability or counter occurences, along with hotkeys to boost my power after completing a spell. Pushing towards lvl 62 now in scribing, so it is working well for me. Just need to always wait for vitality to come back for the best use of time and ingredients.

Thanks again for all the work you put into this game and your timely response. Good luck with your system!!

No .XML File

I downloaded this interface twice today thinking I must be doing something wrong. Both times I only got a .RAR file. It did not come in a .ZIP file and there was no .XML file to extract.

RAR is just another form of compression. Check out www.rarlab.com.

Tailor spells still incorrect...

Are there any other tailors out there using this one? My tailor spells are still incorrectly named and it only lists tier 4 spells, although I'm a lvl 62 tailor, I know I have more.

LOVE this mod though, great work! My other tradeskillers are working fine, just tailor seems to need a little tweeking...thx for all your work!

Doesn't work

Problems:
1. It doesn't show what the product or components are in the right pane when I select a recipe.

2. The tradeskill window pops up over the recipe list, not in the right pane.

3. No display of components and versions (shaped, normal, pristine) of the recipe that have been made when I hover over a recipe icon. (I'm not sure if it's supposed to do this but I depend on that when I'm leveling to quickly identify the recipes I haven't made a pristine of yet.)

1. Have a workstation targeted, click on a recipe then click the "Create" button at the bottom of the window. If you want to see recipe ingredients and final products when not near a workstation you can right click the recipe and examine it (right click the icon in the examine window to see product).

2. Never seen this happen. If you installed the mod right and no other mods are conflicting with it, this shouldn't happen.

3. If you are referring to tooltips not showing up, this does happen sometimes when I first open the recipe book. To fix it I hover over a hotkey or piece of equipment till that tooltip displays, then go back to the recipe window and it works fine. Maybe it just needs some incentive .

Hope that helps.

Thanks for all your help guys. The mod doesnt work perfectly due to some of the EQ2 coding. If you could list the Tailor skills that our out of order and the ones that are missing with their associated icons. I can add them to the mod.

Re: Re: Doesn't work

OK. 1 & 3 are ok (I forgot that sometime tooltips are just a problem in general but #2 is still an issue. Also, new issue:

#4: When I go to the recipe list selection edit window, all of the scroll bars are on the left instead of the right. Very annoying and possibly related to #2.

I can't imagine it's an installation issue as it's just copying a couple of xml files and if I didn't do that right I wouldn't see anything. The other UI components I'm using are EQ2Map w/Map Spoiler, Milqtoast Quest Journal & Infocenter, Mahonri's Loc Compass, & Extreme's Market Window.

Also, how about a way to see what the product is without going through 2 levels of context menus?
