Valteron, you haven't missed anything feature-wise. I've tried to keep the basic architecture of the DarqUI windows consistent with the default, so that a user transitioning to DarqUI will log in to find everything basically in the same place where they left it. Some of the other large interfaces do give you the option of setting up your window locations for you, but DarqUI takes the approach that you already have the persistent windows (hotbars, chat, target, etc.) set up to your liking.

Thank you

Darqwood,

Thank you so much for the reply. I downloaded the installer and got it set up with ease. You have done an amazing job and it could not have been easier.

Thanks again!

Thanks for you time!

Juravael, the utility can be used to download just a subset (or just one) of the DarqUI windows if that's your choice. Go to the Updates tab and check the "Accept" or "Skip" column for each window depending on what you want. Then press "Update Now" to download only the accepted files. The updater tab will remember which files you prefer to skip over. And the utility will not try to set up or replace anything that is not a DarqUI window.

I ran it as administrator and I even tried to take ownership of the files, but no luck. .Net Framework 3.5 is installed.

Any suggestions?

On the Settings tab, choose the default Red color theme and tell me if you still get the error message.

If all this looks good, start the game and type /loadui DarqUI in the chat window. You should see the custom interface. If you do not, then you have some kind of installation error that I can't identify. Be sure to take a look at the F.A.Q. link at the top of this page. Hope this helps.

OKAY! That worked!! Lol. Hooray! Yeah, your UI looks wonderful. You should do the hotbars sometime though, hehe.

But more importantly, EQ2MAP is back. I missed it so!

I hope you understood what I just asked there. Awkwardly phrased sentence, but this is where DarqUI and EQ2MAP is located. I just opened EQ2MAP a few minutes ago and it did something with DarqUI so I jumped into the game and did the /loadui command but only the Default UIs were there.

Once that is done, go back to the EQ2MAP updater, point it to the new custom folder, and it will install your maps so you can use DarqUI and EQ2MAP together.

EDIT: Well, I tried getting EQ2Map to work, but I can't seem to anymore. Even with DarqUI out of my EQ2 folder, so if DarqUI doesn't work--I don't think it's me or you, I think it's SOE.

I've tried /load_uisettings, I made it default, I did everything in the setup video, and I went into UI under Options to see if it was there and it wasn't. I'm just not seeing it at all in-game. What should I do?

Thanks,
Hollcome of Antonia Bayle

EDIT: I left my guild hall and I'm getting freaky lag and my EQ2Map isn't working. Note: I wasn't using any other Add-ons before installing DarqUI. Dunno if those issues had anything to do with DarqUI, but they didn't occur until I tried installing it.

Can you give me a better idea of what the part in blue means?
