Try the updated NPC Spell Monitor on the updater. There is a new control on the in-game Settings menu (DarqUI) or the in-game Window Manager (DarqUI Live). Each character can decide whether to open the monitor on login.

Thanks!

The mystery window is the Maintained Spell Monitor. In the utility, click on the SpellMon tab and you will see general information about the window in the lower part of the utility. Hover your mouse over the various parts of the SpellMon tab and there is quite a bit of info and help.

You can turn it off for the current game session by clicking the (hidden) button in the upper left-hand corner of the window and then unchecking the first checkbox on the menu that appears. You can turn it on or off permanently for each character from the utility.

My question or thought would be " Can that buff or Ability Detriment be monitored, im sure there is a way", For example Treyloth D'Kulvith that has a reflect that appears and disappears so when this reflect comes up im wondering if its possible to have a separate window, much like the Maintained Spell effects window, that could display the Icon On a much larger scale and read the occurrence time and duration times. This would drastically speed up trial and error on new mobs and help get data for new raid mobs for faster strat building.

If this is at all possible it would be soooo awesome...even if i had to enter in the abilities Manually by mob, and auto store it in a database that would still be awesome.

This is a good idea and I agree it would be pretty awesome. I've made several attempts at customizing the detriment window in the past, but IIRC the only way to get information from the icons is to hover the mouse and load the tooltip from the server. This makes any features a lot less useful since it is not hands-free. I'll look again and see if anything can be done with the window.

This is an issue with the game, not the custom interface. It's been reported to Daybreak by multiple sources.

When you click a quest helper link (which should open in the browser again) one of the two existing awesomiums should be used for that, so still only two. You should get one additional process for Tab 2 and Tab 3 but only if you open them. Finally click "Clear all tabs and close" and see if you end up with zero awesomiums in the task list (which is what I get). You may still have one left over, but that's better than eight.

Heya

I did the test as asked :-

at login I get 1 awesomium process
using quest helper link it opens up 2 awesomium process
So thats 3 which is fine

When closeing Browser using the "clear all tabs and close" I am left with 1 awesomium process

and if I open tab 2 and tab 3 they both give 1 extra awesomium process as you said it would.

again if I close the browser using the "clear all tabs and close" I am left with 1 awesomium process

and yup way better than 8

PS
The time it took for me to type this less than 5 mins the 1 awesomium process had gone, when I used the quest helper link it went to 3 awesomium process as above.

start the game up 1 awesomium process
Open browser gives me 2 extra awesomium process (done by clicking on a quest in the quest tracker section)
I select EQ2i and it gives me another 2 awesomium process

Total 5 awesomium process

Looks like the memory leak is still there as the usage figures were still going up,but thats DB side so lets hope next update will fix that.

useing the new clear all tabs and close works fine only 1 awesomium process left.

Only thing I found now is if I click on the Zam/EQ2I buttons for a quest query in the quest tracker,it just opens the browser and does not go direct to the quest in question, not a major issue since we can still type the quest in but thought I'd let you know sinces it's differant.

Everything else looks fine and works

Thanks again

Post here or send me a PM if you see anything squirrely.

(PS: If you use /help or /petition you will get additional awesomium processes as both use variations of the browser element.)
