your life saver that video was perfect.... and i must say this is the best UI i have ever used!!! i have used profit until it was so buggy i could not longer stand it, then drums UI had no issues with it but always heard about how you could really customize your game at a new level with Darq's UI... i must say you did a really really good job keep up the good work friend! BTW i love how you can tell who is next on the hate list with your threat meter

This is an updater for the current UI version, and it's all you will need to download from this site. The utility will download the UI files onto your computer. If you're starting from scratch, take a look at this video for a quick walk-through.

so is this just and updater for the other version's of your UI? do i have to install darq 2.2.5 frist? then add this? i just came back to the game and decided to try this UI....i have always used drums auto updater... please and help would be greatful

Aeudian, thank you! I appreciate your comments. I also like the idea of having the search filters out front. In fact when I was originally working on the Broker mod I struggled with some different ways to handle the filters without a pop-up, but everything made the window too cluttery even though it was marginally more functional. The new Reset button on the main window strikes a fair form/function balance -- it lets you check and reset the filters, which eliminates two of the three reasons for having to interact with the filter pop-up.

Darq, this has to be one of the best UI's in the game. It as features unlike any UI I have seen and I have been playing since 2004.

I do have a customizing question which I don't see to have an option for. Is it possible to the advanced search options of the broker loaded in the main broker window similar to ProfitUI? I find myself always going into those options and would love them to be listed on the main broker window.

Hi LittleMagica, the Call Servant and Shrink Servant spell buttons now use spell ID numbers to work with all clients including non-US. Thanks for the heads-up!

Reira, if the custom UI is not showing up when you log in, type /loadui in the chat window then pick the UI from the list. You should only have to do this once.

I understand that people have expressed an issue with the UI not really showing up when they load up EQ2, I just happen to be another one of those individuals. I've already ensured the folder is no longer read-write, I've tried deleting and reinstalling, and my EQ2 client is also a recent re-installation. I am not entirely sure if I missed something...?

Carthington, the theme switcher is copying and moving files between the folders, so make sure you have read/write access to everything. This is not the same as running as administrator -- even an administrator can't write files that are read-only.

Right-click the main DarqUI folder, go to Properties, uncheck "Read-only" and let it set all files and folders inside DarqUI for read-write. I've had one other user that ended up with read-only themes. The only thing I can figure is that somebody else was downloading the theme files at the same time, so the second download was flagged read-only. If this doesn't work, delete all the theme folders and re-download.

Darq, for some reason its not keeping my theme settings...

when I open the update utility, it has my theme choice, but when I open eq, its not the same...

any thoughts?

ok this is wierd, I chose a different theme and logged in and it works but when I select my theme it doesn't...wierd

Degra, thank you for your comments! I'm glad you're enjoying the UI. The equipment and appearance gear slots have not been viewable with the dressing room for a while now, even using the default UI. I just logged into the Test server a minute ago to see if this had been fixed, but unfortunately it has not. My only suggestion would be to send a /feedback or /bug report in-game and hope the developers will restore the functionality.
