Hi there,

I'm a huge fan of your work, keep it up!

Just have a question regarding the chat, after I ran the updater, I'm no longer able to just press enter and type away.. This happens even after I set the default chat window.

Right now, I've to click on another window to respond, couldn't do an /r, /tt or even select a player and right click to tell anymore. Could you please help me?

I did a clean install of the Updater version of the Full Interface, and I have no menu button. I used F10 to view all windows, moved everything around, and I can't find it anywhere. Is there a way to "call it up" via keystrokes?

I did add the Infocenter to the interface...would this explain why the menu button is not appearing?

Hi there, glad you're enjoying the UI. This is the first time I've ever heard of this crash bug. If you could make a new topic on the DrumsUI forums here and post exactly what it takes to recreate the crash, it might help me figure out if it is a global bug.

Off hand I don't have any suggestions unfortunately.

Hi Drums, I LOVE the UI, thank you so much for all of the nifty features you've included! I've had a problem lately however, and I don't know if it's related to the UI or not: my game crashes the first time I log into the broker and examine an item to compare individual prices. My guildies aren't experiencing this problem in general, so I thought that I'd pose the problem here to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.

Thanks for your kind attention and for such an easy to use interface. It makes being a priest a much easier job!

I'm actually not sure there is anyway to do this as the game manages the default UI settings and it apparently doesn't like to load custom settings.

I love your UI, but have noticed that when I make a new character, I have to manually copy the <server>_<Character Name>_eq2_uisettings.xml file for the UI settings I prefer and change the name to match my new character so that character will have the settings I prefer. If I try to just use the "copy UI settings" option that EQ2 provides, it seldom works.

Is there some file in your UI that I could modify that would make my preferred settings the default? If so, how would I go about doing that?

Sounds like you overwrote your old eq2ui_custom.xml which would have contained StatBar included files.

Heya Drums,

I just tried to fix my UI with your "GU60 examine window" DL. It fixed the examine windows, they now show adornment slots ...but adding it to my folder broke my Statbar. Just wondering what files I should add to fix the Statbar.

- See the "Alternatives" folder in the DrumsUI folder to access some window variations. (eg. Tiny Group, Group with pet bars, Right-sided maintained, bottom-aligned voice chat, etc.)

1. In the zip file there are no variations for the group or maintained window
2. when i start the updater, under variations, there is only voice-chat window in the drop down menu...

i have tried to delete all files in "alternative"-folder and re-installed updater.
what`s the problem here? please help me

edit: i have answered my question by myself i have seen that the group and maintained variations are obsolete... thanks anyway very nice ui, thank you.

/load_uisettings will get you the hud layout. If you mean your Click-to-cast buttons, you'll need to go into your: /DrumsUI/POI/drumsui_textsettings.xml file and look for your character name <Page Name="DrumsUI_ToonName"> and modify the ToonName to the new name (ie: ToonNameX)

Yes you can use the Cure Buttons to do stuff, just disable Smart Curing.

After the mergers and the system down, I reactivated eq2 after leaving in like November.

Due to the merger my characters' profiles are messed up. I finally figured it out but I need to know how to load another character's profile for Drums... any help here?

I feel like an idiot for even having to ask :/

Thanks Drumstix I'll give it another go. Would there be any reason I'm not aware of that I cannot use the cure buttons to make this macro? I don't play a healer so don't need them.

There is no command to use an item on another player without first targeting them first. Due to server "lag" it's not efficient to target a player and then use an item as the "use item" command gets triggered too quickly in most cases. But to answer your question, you would simply make a two line macro to first target the selected member, and then use the use_itemvdl command with the proper item ID.
