Hiya.

I found this while looking for UI tweaks and was rather intrigued by it.
But here comes the problem, I have a little trouble understanding what to do.

Quote:
Installation:
Extract all files to your Custom UI folder. Edit your eq2ui_custom folder to include the following lines:
<Include>eq2ui_custom.AncientShroud.xml</Include>
<Include>eq2ui_custom.CarrionWarding.xml</Include>
<Include>eq2ui_custom.DeathWard.xml</Include>
<Include>eq2ui_custom.EidolicWard.xml</Include>
<Include>eq2ui_custom.Purulence.xml</Include>
<Include>eq2ui_custom.SoulWard.xml</Include>
What do you exactly mean by eq2ui_custom folder?, I figured as much that those lines needed to be added in the eq2ui_custom.xml file in the default folder, so I did, and ended up with 5, unmoveable, unclickable, no text info displaying windows (where indeed the wards showed when casted).
What am I doing wrong here, or what am I not understanding?
Please explain?

Sorry for the trouble, I very much liked the screenshot you posted, I like that kind of info to be visible.

I tried adding those lines including the spaces in front, then I had nothing ingame (no effect windows).
If I added them without spaces in front, I'd have the unmove/unclickable windows, regardless if keeping a space between previous line in the xml file or not.
I have no full custom or profit UI, just bits and pieces that I like.

Greetz, Whit

Ahh, yea, it uses Profit Fonts so that would be the problem. Let me see if I can fix it to be usable without Profit.

I looked in to it. and it looks like it has something to do with ProfitUI.
... I don't use Profit UI

Lately I've actually been working on that and I'm actually making it so you can edit it and change the spells you want to easily via a text file. This will make the process much easier.
It's an excellent mod you did. If there is anything I can do to help you with it let me know. I wanted to incorporate Subclass Detection into it, as that would make the mod extremely useful. I think that is beyond my capabilities though.

I know extremely little about XML, so I have a hard time adding functionality, though if I know what coding to put in, I can replicate it for different classes and such. If you can post the Spells you would like done for Mystic, I can happily make a Mystic Version. Same for anyone else that wants a version based on thier class.

That was not based off of gm9's code. That was based off of my mod and code in this thread http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=12312

I don't know where you thought that it was based off of gm9's code when I did all the work and yours is 99% identical to my code. Go to that link and re read it.
