Is there an auto attack bar with this UI ? If so I can not seem to find it.
I am digging this UI so far, still fixing up all my windows where I like them to be located.
(if no auto bar is included could someone tell me which or if there is one that can be added)

S'okay, I found an error in them anyway. v_v Seems if the character didn't have all 5 tabs, the ones that were there would overlap. This is corrected tonight. Sorry for the screw-up - next time I'll remember to test on more characters.

Found it. Thanks. I just try and load new UIs vanilla to make sure they work before I start in with the options hehe.

My bad, I put the corrected knowledge windows in the Alternate UI Options/knowledge options area, but not in the main folder. It is there, just has to be grabbed from whichever version of the knowledge window you use.

The offending file "eq2ui_mainhud_knowledge" is still dated 2005 in the download. Looks like it didn't make it into the update. sorry.

As of the 12/7/2010 update, the knowledge window is broken and must be removed from your custom ui folder to successfully log in without crashing the eq2 client.

Ouch, major miss on my part, I'm sorry. Turned out to be my fault - changed something I shouldn't have. It's corrected now, and since I've posted several window corrections by this time, I've updated the UI itself. Thanks for spotting it, permster!

Oh, and Oosbid, glad the buttons are working for you - I've included them as an option in the complete UI as well.

I'm using EQ2 Extended and am unable to disable adventure XP. I don't have the same XP bars as shown in the screenshot however. With Extended I have a big bar across the entire bottom part of the screen. In the middle are the Adventure, AA, Tradeskill, etc XP bars. When I right click anywhere on there I get options for Minimize, Show Adventure Experience, Show Tradeskill Experience, Window Settings, and Unlock Window.

The show XP options don't do anything. No matter what I do I can't get the option to disable Adventure XP.

To test this out further I switched to the Default_Blue UI and now the bar at the bottom has a few additional option on right click. One of which is to disable combat XP.

Any ideas on how to fix this for the ThorUI?

Sorry it took so long for me to post my response but here it is.
I downloaded and installed the quickchange window addon for the sound problem. As you figured it works. It now remembers my sound settings.

Checking all my references, not finding anything so far.

Just to verify, because reading back I realized I may have misunderstood which window is acting odd. Is it the timer window that's blank, or is it the clock itself, in the area you press to toggle the timer?

Edit: Found it! When I loaded into EQ2X, I got the white box on the clock, but in live it showed the clock normally. Turns out the problem is a graphics file that's no longer used by Sony. Since the file still exists in my original game install, I didn't see a problem there. But freeq2's a fresh install, and the file was never loaded there.

I've verified the live and free versions both are using the same graphics reference now, and updated Thor's clock accordingly. Will patch that and the character window shortly.

Same issue here except the box is white for me and those 3 lines are there.

Sorry took me so long to reply, went away fora couple days, I looked and those 3 lines are there, but the Icon for clock is still a black square

Just checked it out. Working fine for me in-game, and all the references seem to be in order. Start with the basic troubleshoot:



Open your eq2ui_custom.xml file (Notepad usually works best). You can find it in EverQuest II/UI/(name of custom UI folder, probably thorui). Does it include the following lines?
If they're not there, that's why it's not working - and odds are the timer settings and the video/audio quickchange windows also aren't working. Copy/paste those lines immediately above the line </Page>

If those lines are in place, then something else is going on. Let me know and we'll try to work it out.
