my group window won't show up with profit ui. i have followed all the suggestions to reinstall/ etc... it works fine in default ui, but not in profit ui.. there a hotkey i can make to bring it up maybe?

I have dowloaded Profit UI reborn and the updater. I get this message when I log into eq2:
The MainHUD Maintained window is not compatible with the current client. Please upgrade your UI mod to a compatible version or revert to the default UI (/loadui default).

What do I need to do to fix this?

Why isnt it on one of the long view bars?

Fix

Get to the point past the errors to where the application is available then go to:

Settings menu > Updater sub-menu > "Reset all settings" option

Doesn't seem to be fixed. Clean install of eq2, the game works fine, until I install ProfitUI. After that, I can't get the game to open (without crashing as soon as it's starting). If I remove Profit, eq2 works fine again.

And I'm talking about eq2, not eq2x

How can I get this fixed?

This is a bug todays hotfix repaired. Shoudl be all good now.

Since GU58 went online my EQ2x Client crashes as soon as I click somewhere in the EQ2 Window. This happens in Fullscreen and in Window Mode. Didn't test retail client yet.

When I use Default UI everythings fine. I might give u some output/logs regarding this crash if u want.

Or is this an already known bug and someone has a workaround for me?:P

I have the same issue and nfi why - in any case, here's an easy fix. Make a macro containing:

/show_window MainHUD.StartButton

And just press it when you want your start button

Is there anyway to use just the autoattack bar part of profitui with the regular ui?

Also, when running profitui, is there supposed to be a profitui config button? I am not seeing it? is there a key command or /command to bring up the profitui config window

The old autoattack bar thing on eq2interface doesnt seem to be workign anymore. I know the one in profitUI works, but I dont want all of the other stuff with ProfitUI

So can I just grab the autoattackbar file? Or do i need to integrate that somehow?

i am having the same problem here i have to /load default ui then /load again for profit ui
i think the problem is in eq2ui_mainhud_startbutton.xml
how can i make it always load without /load default then /load ui again

and uninstalling the game is not a valid option for me .... if anyone know how to fix this i would be very thankful , please help us this is my only problem now

Skuall, I was having the same problem and I run Windows 7. My profitui start menu had to be manually loaded at every login and it would sometimes disappear when I changed zones. Furthermore, sometimes reloading profitui would make my dialogue boxes (main chat and combat chat) disappear completely. I couldn't get them back since there was nothing to right click and open a new chat window. I had to reboot the game whenever this happened. And reload profitui again, praying my dialogue box would stay.

However, I was able to fix the problem.

For me, I think the problem stemmed from the fact that:
1. I installed Station Launcher and Everquest II on an old Windows admin account that I had deleted due to glitches.
2. I had installed Profitui and EQ2 Maps on a new Windows admin account.

I have learned that Windows 7 partitions files for each user account. I was able to fix the problem by uninstalling Station Launcher, Everquest II, Profitui Updater, and EQ2 maps.

NOTE: To uninstall Everquest II, I had to manually go in and delete the Everquest II folder in c:\programdata\sony online entertainment\installed games\everquest ii

Then I reinstalled everything on the same Windows admin account. Now everything works beautifully.

In your old eq2 directory. (something like c:/program files/Sony/eq2), you'll find many .ini files that say your character and servername_uisettings. Just copy those to the same place in ur new computer and use /load_uisettings from eq2 to load them

Just wondering if you could assist me in moving my UI set up from my old computer to a new computer that I have recently purchased. I have 4 char that each have different UI setups and I would like to keep the custom setups that I have. Any assistance would be appreciated.
