First off I want to say thanks for your support. But now to address the issues. Information such as how the stats come up or what picture displays is not controlled by the persona screen. They call that information from other xml files. Specifically any stats are called from the equi_gamedata.xml and the picture is called from equi_specialelements.xml. I would suggest that you see if these files are in your custom ui directory and remove them so that you use the default ones, which are the ones that get updated when EQ2 does.

One other possibility for the class graphic is if you leave you persona screen up all the time when you log in it doesn't update the graphic so it is showing the default one. Which happens to be set to Defiler. So try closing the persona window and opening it again.

One of the big drawbacks of creating interface pieces is that you can't save any settings. That's why when you set the Home City on the Details page it reverts back to none the next time you log in. Saving settings of controls is one of the biggies on the wish list.

It's a minor Thing, but it always shows the wrong Image for my Class, I play ShK and it always shows Defiler... Can this be fixed?

My God is shown right too, just not the Class...

Heya Rick, just wanted to write and say that I was glad you came out with update. One thing I did notice is that the Primary, Secondary and Ranged weapon stats do not show up correctly on my screen. I have Damage and Delay both at 10000. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I also noticed the spell damage, heal and Hate modifier all show up as 10000 as well.

Your right the character name is shifted to the left. That's because I included the first and last name. So if you don't have a last name then your name will look off center. I'm trying to think of a way that if you don't have a last name it sets the first name centered. But it might be a week or two before I make that update. I would like to play EQ2 for a little while before jumping back into the interface stuff.

Great update! Only thing I noticed that is a bit annoying to me is that my character's name is not centered on the front screen. It's skewed to the right a bit. Not sure if it's due to the length or not. Other than that, it's perfect!

Honestly I like your window more than their new one. I was rather hoping you could update the window with the drop down factions and that be the updated window.

The dropdown list for what you want to see is okay for some chars, but my secondary char is a paladin so I want to see everything in one page. Your "rethinking" isn't going to change that, is it?

They made so many changes to the Persona screen that I've had to rethink the way I'm going to display everything, and I hope you like the results.

I love the persona window. Thank you for posting it.

I have a suggestion or two and I think also a bug on the first tab, 'Stats'.

First the bug...

At the bottom on the right you have Crushing, slashing and piercing. The number listed appears correct but if you mouse over the percentage appears to be 1/10th of the correct number. I.E. Mine should be 32% and it shows 3.2%, it appears to be a decimal place error.


Second, the suggestions:

1) At the top right, Mitigation shows the value, then in parenthesis, the percentage. Right below it, Avoidance shows the number and breaks out the components by percentage, but you have to mouse over the number to see the composite avoidance percentage. Could you put the composite percentage in parenthesis just like for mitigation?

2) I noticed that there is no way to see the vitality on the xp bars... it looks like you are just short on room. I'd prefer a way to see the vitality (to see if I need to tradeskill, etc.) I think the bulb on the right of the bar is on the default persona window in the game (if I recall correctly). I would like to be able to check the vitality if there is a way to squeeze it in (mouseover is fine)

seemed to be a eq2 bug, which is fixed for me since gu38... but another question, may you update your ui, that you can auto-decline LoN games.. i hate it on avatar fights, when a player wants to chalange you and there's a big pop-up or game crash...(i hate watchers from other servers -.-)

would be nice with an ato-decline-lon-game option ^^

Also if I log out and back in, that box is checked already even though I'm now still not displaying my heraldry, if I click the checkbox it just reverts to greyed out condition again.


I checked this problem out and found that it appears to be a problem with EQ2. I checked the original Persona window and saw the same thing happen. Although I logged in today and while it still greyed out it came back in just a second. So hopefully the developers discovered the problem and fixed it.
