Fixed, rerun the updater to get the proper file.

I have recently moved in the game to a new house. I cannot retrieve the no-trade items that are in my moving crate. My friend came to help and said I am missing a button that should say "move item". This button should be located between the "retrieve item" and the "cancel" command in this window for the moving crate. Is this something I am missing or have I done something goofy to mess this up?

edit** i have reloaded the ui and all else seems to be good

A full install is about 55megs, depending on your connection that can take a bit.

DeaDBeaT has fixed this issue. Just do an update from the Mod Updater.

By removing that line it reverts to the default UI.

I can get into EQ2 if I remove the line cl_ui_skinname DeaDBeaTs from my eq2.ini file.

I am having the same error. Love the interface and am really hoping to get it up and running. I am currently uninstalling and resintalling to see if that resolves this issue.

PS I am running XP.

Installed this today, Ive done it several times now, and continue to get the same error. Hope you can help. Just fyi I'm running Vista.

Got it to work, see now what the problem was, had the installer installed separatly and not under the eq2 directory like you said... Looks great

Can you translate this line for me?

I'm guessing it has to do with file pathing, changing the install location will break the updater as it uses contextual pathing.

The correct install needs to be a 'DBsMod' folder under your 'Everquest II' directory.

Well, no window saying it installed correctly. Everything seems to install correctly but i cant use the launch button, nor can i use the uninstall option... The install path is correct to my eq2 folder with my eq2.exe as well... I did however change the default install folder for you mod but that shouldnt matter...

I did get an errorlog.txt in a doc from the file location u mentioned but no popup with a error msg, this was inside the error doc though:

Make sure the path to your Everquest II install is correct, use the Browse button if it's not.

If the installer ran into problems there will be an 'error.txt' file in your new *\Everquest II\DBsMod folder that you can either copy here or mail to me.

Did you get the window saying it had been installed correctly?
