Aye, I have the same problem, but when i go back and re-install my old "Caster start button" everything shows up fine. When i re-install this, all i get is the EQ!! button, with nothing else also. It did work earlier today when i first loaded it, then stopped and went to just the EQ!! button by itself. I aslo have moved it to the center of my screen to make sure nothing is hiding off screen. No luck.

Sounds like the MainHUD.Inventory window is there, but off to the side of the screen... you can also try /show_window MainHUD.Inventory, if it doesnt work, I think you may have to delete your settings file and reconstruct your interface settings. This is one of the problems when you create new windows in the EQ2 UI. New windos not hardcoded into the system get no support from the EQ2 programming.

Hello ....

I was using your Melee version of this interface mod and still am now. When I downloaded this new version (wth the Manastone support) and install it this is what I get. I log into the game and all I can see is the EQ II button - the rest of the features and bar cannot be seen (window settings are unlocked btw) - mouseover seems to indicate there is something beside the EQ II button - but nothing is visible. Tried moving the EQ II Button to center of screen so nothing else was close to it - did not help. Tried the Alt ~ and /hide_window MainHUD.Inventory fixes listed above - still cannot see it. Any other possible solutions?

I set up the notes as the guide included said but only the first note actually shows up in the game.

Weird... I have no problems right clicking the button. Right clicking on any spot of the window (such as over the manastone button) will bring up the window settings... After you unlock it, you need to find a spot where there is no button to drag it (otherwise you would be clicking the button instead of dragging). Because there are so many buttons on this mod, there is not a lot of area for you to latch onto, but it is there.

I'm having an issued with the button mod as well. It seems that I can not get the Window Settings to show by right clicking the window. It "sees" through so it would actually be clicking the window behind if there is one. I presume a work-around would be to unlock all the windows, see if it moves, then lock them back and unlock the ones I do move from time to time. The only solid piece that can be altered is the button itself.

heya,

first off just wanted to say I have enjoyed the previous version immensely. Use this all the time. However, I got the latest version and unfortunately, stupidly deleted the previous version. I installed this version same as before and followed same directions as posted. However, when I log into the game with this enabled, I do not have the EQ button that leads to options etc. The rest of the bar is there, including ammo slot etc. Tried using the window commands but that made no difference. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and if so, how they got around it. If anything, would greatly appreciate the previous incarnation to be reposted if possible, as that worked with no problems at all.

Is there any way I can set the starting master volume to 0 (or 1) instead of 20 ? I want the game to always start silently and only activate sound when I'm interested in it.

I tried to change the "volume" in the eq2ui_mainhud_startbutton.xml file, but had no luck, if I change the value at line 215 the startbutton doesnt work at all.

The line is this one:

If I change Value="20" to Value="0" or Value="1" the interface piece doesnt appear at all.

Any advice ?

Im enjoyng this mod as well, but the skills button does not work since the last patch that introduced the new Skill Window. The window opens but there is no text. I dled your updated mod from 7/1 thinking that might do it, but still doesn't work.

Jaxel, is it possible to get the ranged slot changed to just an extra hotkey slot? Maybe the non-arrow version. Thanks!
