I am getting black market windows with this UI

@Spellweaver -> did the last update fix it for you?

@Neyai -> I dont think there is an info center standalone anymore.

@lomonacov -> make sure the folder structure is like this:

[your everquest 2 folder]\UI\Goldi

And then inside that Goldi folder you should see all the files.
A common mistake while extracting files is creating another sub folder inside

If there are two subfolders ( Goldi\Goldi ) you should move the files.

I downloaded Goldi MMM, put it into my Everquest2 UI folder, ran setup_goldi_ui.bat.

And nothing. I type /load_uisettings while in-game and it does not show up on the list.

Now what?

Is the info center available by itself? I've searched misc and fetish and profit and goldii and can't find it mentioned.

Can we please get an update for the new GU? I love the ui, but I cant use half of my guild halls amenities with it right now. I just get black windows.

I noticed the missing Guild point feature as well. My guild is using it to track DKP, but I cant see or use the points lists.

The Info center is a bit outdated missing most all information for levels 71-80

The start button thing seems random, but I have noticed that it does not seem to happen until you zone at least once if that helps any.

Ever since I reinstalled this after the update all my windows have solid black backgrounds. I can get some text in some of them, but theres definately alot more black than I want - I can't read anything in my guild window or use the broker at all :/

I really need a hand with this.

Thanks for the update, Goldi.

Couple of things:

One, the guild window does not appear to have an ability to apply the new guild points. I was hoping that changing the ranks setting to where everyone could receive points would make the button appear, but alas...

Two, (and this is known already), the start button is still going wonky. I'm sure someone has figured out when, but to me it seems totally random. I didn't realize how much I rely upon that feature until I couldn't use it.

Love this UI and cannot imagine playing with out it.

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but I have a ghost of the start button.

When I load a character at the start of my session with that character, I get what I figured was the default setup. It has the box with the start button about two-thirds up from the bottom on the left hand side of the screen. When my character is fully loaded, my set up takes over and that box is on the lower right side.

Now, the loot window doesn't like to stay where I put it (has happened with every ui I have used) and sometimes it lands just right and when I go to click the "loot" button, it will actually click the ghost start button and bring up that menu.

Am I the only one that experiences this?

hey goldi....any chance you can update just your start window to the latest build.i usualy use a mixmax between yours and fetish and your standalone start button is a bit outdated.

also goldi...i have been able to reproduce the problem with the start button everytime. it wont become unresponsive untill i zone.

i did not know about the camping to fix it...will test it tommorow.

if there is any other info you need let me know,my characters are vochore druadon and omegar on blackburrow server.

Ladylabyrinth -> Sounds like a missing image in the installation. I have double checked this new release, let me know if you still have that problem after installing the new update ok?

Lethiana-> Actually there is a way for you to turn the numbers on:

- Right click with your mouse to the left of the first button, and select to change the window settings.
- Now, change "Frame and Title" "Normal opacity", until the numbers and little up/down arrows appear. It is tricky sometimes to find the correct spot to right click... it is off to the left of the hotkey bar. (if you still find it difficult, I can create a screenshot later)

Sariana57 -> Try my latest update, let me know if you still have the same problem. Actually I always provide all the update map files in the .zip with my UI (that is why it is so big... 24Mb), but it is worth it: easiest way to install (anyone who can unzip and execute a .bat file will be able to install the UI)

Regarding the displacement of the Start button, if after upgrading today you still have the same problem, you might want to try deleting your .ini file for your character and reconfiguring all the windows positions (optionally you can follow instructions on my .bat file which is in the UI folder, to use a pre-configuration I provide.

First, I love this UI. It makes everything much cleaner and easy to deal with, so thank you! But (yeah, there's always a but )...

In the group window, the effects for group members are just little gray squares on either side of the assist button, which makes it hard for my priests to see who needs to be cured, much less what effects are on them. This is a bit less of a problem with the new all-in-one "Cure" spell they updated to so recently, but still, if I can't see it, I can't cure it. Any chance of a fix on that in the near future?

Goldi on your next update run can you add a small number to the hotbars to indicate which number it is? On a rare occasion I need to find a particular number hotbar and this would make it easier.

We recently had to change many things on my PC and I needed to redownload this UI. As I did so, I received the error message...

! E:\DOWNLOADS\Goldi_05152008.zip: CRC failed in Goldi\images\maps\map_exp02_dun_shrines_of_sky_1.dds. The file is corrupt


Would that be on my end? or the download? or any other possibilities?
