hey I am having problems with my quest journal after LU 10, I cant open it by clicking the mouse on it anymore, and I get a msg saying that this UI is not combatable with blah blah blah.... anyway just wanted you to know

Sorry for the delay in posting a response. You know now RL is sometimes. I just saw that one of the posting rules is not to ask for help. Shame on me for not seeing that earlier. I really appreciate you stepping up to try and help.

I had already tried using those exact steps in my previous attemps to implement the UI. It's okay to if we can't make it work or if we need to persue this outside of these forums.

How would you like to proceed?

Check this:

1) make sure the UI folder is named Goldi, and that you have some sub-folders inside it. Some common mistake is to unzip the Goldi folder inside another Goldi folder.

2) Make sure in the main folder of the game, you have a text file named:

eq2.ini

And the contents:

cl_ui_skinname Goldi
cl_ui_subdir UI/

3) Also, you do need to run the EQ2MAP_Updater.exe at least once (but i do advise you to use it at least once a day

If you dont use it at least once you have installed my UI, you WILL crash

The exe file is in:

Goldi\#EQ2MapUpdater

If you receive a error message while trying to run that prog, you will need to download and install:

The default Goldi UI crashes every time.

I renamed the Goldi directory to Fetish (per one of the READMEs I found) and it seemed to work until I hit the EQ2 button. Then I was on the crash-express back to the desktop.

I really like what I've seen of your work. Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

hello goldi and all that uplink for new user interface
This is my first time downloading a user interface didn't feel the neewd to do so in eq1
But i am now
Anyway i am wondering if miss goldi can maybe add something to her mmm i really like her interface it is one of the best from what i can tell. But what i was wonder ing is if she can add or me find a way to add the 3 differant lvl bars on her interface.Like u se in plague
i also like plague interface alot also
But i like the stats showing like it is in goldi now i am just wishing the 3 bars like your guild lvl your exp lvl and your artisian lvl showing all at the same time
I was wondering if someone could either add this feature to goldi's or make a new liek goldi's cause i really love seeing all my stats plus my lvl in all 3 categories,or have some help me figure out how to do it on my own. but on that i have no idea what i need.

This is a great mod. It uses all if my favorite interface pieces and EQ2MAP. I don't have to keep track of the updates for the little pieces. Goodjob and nice work giving credit where credit is due.

I removed that persona window a while ago, since the last update. The official one was updated and the one i used wasnt, and i was waiting for the person that created it, to update.

I will see if i can update it myself and add it again in the next version of my UI

Hey Goldi...for some reason the persona window I have with your UI is not the one shown in the screen shot....just wondering what is going on.

Got the HO wheel working. Had to replace the eq2ui_mainhud_heroic.xml with the default one, delete my uisettings.ini file and log in using default UI. After doing that, I swiched back to custom UI and HO wheel is now there.

Ended up deleting the uisettings.ini file completely, and now have the spell effects window, but not HO window.

I remember seeing a post on here somewhere about other people having this problem and they had to delete a file to get it to show, but can't find the post anywhere. If I find it I'll post it here, too.
