This is my favorite suggestion, I hope it's something you can implement in an upcomming version. I keep my TS window all the way over on the right-hand side so it's under my Quest Helper for tracking timed writs. Having to resize and position it is just a minor annoyance.
The only other thing that I wish was possible is flipping the windows {search on the right, crafting on the left} so I could have the search directly under my quest helper window and the crafting pops out toward the center of the screen. Just makes it a little easier visually to go from the next item on the list to the search and keeping an eye on events vs the floaty progress/durability text coming off my crafting table. But I love this mod and am thrilled with it as is. Thanks!

All look good, Thanks. I think most would agree with your suggestions. Let's hope GU51 comes out soon enough so I can finish up with my planned mod releases.
Cheers.

Good news. I have a couple more suggestions.
1. Eliminate the second progress/durability bar and add a power bar
2. Make the clear button clear AND refresh the list in one click
3. Make it so the second panel stays open all the time (optional using window settings?)
4. Eliminate the panel where you can swap materials. Or at the very least make it optional. I don't think anyone actually does that anymore, now that there's no actual combines.
5. See if you can make the focus revert to the buttons when you type Enter Enter to repeat a recipe. I think any other focus issues are not going to b doable.
take a look at this ui to see what I mean
http://www.eq2interface.com/downloads/full6077.jpg this is from Brushfire and its just what I want but there's no second pane.
I'm guessing that the focus problem is going to be difficult as I don't see it fixed in anyone's mod.
I hope these suggestions are useful

I figured out what and why the getting stuck with no way to get back from the recipe window to the (continuing to craft) crafting window.
Start crafting a recipe...in this case a tailoring recipe. After you've been crafting this recipe for a bit, hit the "create" button on the recipe side, or hit the enter key. This forces the "repeat" icon on the crafting window, which means you now cannot stop the current recipe. If you then hit the repeat icon, it forces the tradeskill window to close, but the recipe continues. The crafting window sort of overlays the recipe window in part, but the reaction arts are not visible. You cannot stop the ongoing recipe with escape and "x" in the upper right is not active. I agree that hitting "enter" when the recipe is active should not stop the recipe. It's too easy to hit enter accidentally and stop an almost finished recipe. However, I think that both the "create" button and the "enter" key should be inactive during the recipe creation. That should solve this problem
The only way to stop it is to run far away from the crafting station, which isn't such a good idea if you're doing a timed writ.
I discovered this when I realized that the recipe I was doing for a timed writ was incorrect and accidentally hit the "create" button for the correct recipe instead of the "stop" button.

This Tradeskill is the best ever...a few suggestions for making it even better
1. When you repeat a recipe (using the enter key) return the focus to the reaction arts buttons. Try to keep/return the focus to these buttons whenever possible. This is my #1 request.
2. Instead of two progress bars, put in a power/health bar.
3. Open the dual window when first starting tradeskilling or at least keep the dual window open during the session.
4. Eliminate the substitution boxes...does anyone ever substitute materials?
Once in a while, through a combination of the wrong keys or something (can't reliably duplicate this) I end up on the single recipe page in the middle of a craft combine with no way to get back to the page with the reaction arts. The crafting continues, but there's no way that I could find to activate (or even see) the reactions needed or the reaction arts to counter them. If the window accidentally closes to the recipe page, there needs to be a button to open the crafting page (the recipes check box doesn't do it).
I LOVE this interface...expecially the ability to see and select a recipe in advance of needing it for tradeskills.

I love the tradeskill window with recipes available...
How do you get the side-by-side view? I have to switch back and forth. Also...I don't think we need the choose buttons (imo they clutter up the screen), but if you feel we do, could you make them an option? I've never once used them.
I also find the two progress/durability bars a bit confusing. How about power and crafting progress toward next level
have no idea what I was doing wrong/right, but the side by side view came back...go figure
