Deleted file eq2ui_journals_quest.xml, worked like a charm. They changed a few things with the patch, but the only noticible ones were fonts and the Quest journal.

Journal is working again now

They added a separate tab for Collection quests, very nice! Also I can once again see how many quests i've completed, where I couldnt before.

Only issue (However it's very minor) is that now with the file gone the main journal part is brown and doesn't match the border. But that's no big thing.

New Quest window inc... I have made the changes already but the UK servers have not updated there data as of yet... So I dunno if it works or not lol...

All it realy is, Is OCD quest window re-skinned and sized a bit...

Soon as I know the page I added is working I will update... but for now just delete eq2ui_journals_quest.xml
from the LaffsV8 folder or the BottomV8 folder whatever version you have...

New Update needed as of 8 June 2005, EQ2 default interface has been changed and Quest journal is no longer compatable. Thanks again for an awesome UI.

I cant see a direct version of this being 1024x768..... But with the Laffs Lite based on this I will keep that rez in mind and will try and get round to doing it.

Ok I re downloaded the UI and installed it again and it seems fine now.

I think you misunderstood me on the rez settings. I was wondering if you were gonna release this UI so that it is a little bit more friendly to the 1024 x 768 setting. I will admit it looks alright but it doesn't really shine until you get to the higher rez.

At 1280 x 1024 (my top rez) it looks fabolous. Unfortunatly on my 17" monitor and with my crappy vision its hard to read sometimes.....lol.

The group window in this latest update is working fine...

Also I was messing about trying to get EQ2 to run better on my son's system and was going through the different rezes with this UI loaded up and it did work at 1024x768 ! just had to shrink the chat box in the top right and also the one on the bottom left... The rest of the stuff lined up fine... Not saying that will happen for you likes but yes it will run at that rez, Not sure of what refresh rate I was using though sorry either 60 or 75 maybe

I recently downloaded this UI and love it the only thing I can see is that the group window is still a little out of whack. Other than that its beautiful.

One more thing are you planning on doing something similar to this in a lower screen res like 1024x768. My eyes aint so good...lol

ok i did what everone is say to do with the file and the save but im still getting a white border around the windows

Do I need to download some sort of add-on utility to get the clock and the three buttons beneath it to appear? For some reason, on my 1280x1024, the clock icon and those buttons, map,etc, etc, buttons don't show up.

That window will resize down to show all of them during a raid.. on my version of this UI I have a switch that will allow you to do this quickly... Off the top of my head I think its the eq2ui_mainhud_effects.xml file you would need to take from my UI and drop into this one..

Alough I keep this UI updated I dont want to change the way it works or looks as that may not be in line with Perdition's wishes... But most of the stuff in my UI will be compatible with this one if you want to mix and match a bit..

This is the best complete skin up to now, I really enjoy using it.

There is just a little drawback, when being on raids the buff bar is just way too short and there is enough space right of it to stretch it by at least 10 icons.

Please consider this!
